Osvaldo Morales - Lead Pastor

Osvaldo is a sinner saved by the grace of God. He was born and raised in Mission, Texas and is a retired building contractor. Pastor Morales felt the calling of God in his life in 1997 after being diagnosed with a fatal disease, and was given just 6 months to live.

By God’s grace, he recovered and began sharing his testimony of the miracle that God performed in his life in churches and on the radio. In 2012, God lead him to open Only Thru Jesus Church. He wanted to reach people with the gospel of Christ. Osvaldo knows that there are people who are hurting out there and he believes there is hope for everyone, no matter what their situation is.

Pastor Morales has been happily married to his wonderful wife Frances for almost 50 years and together they are blessed with five children: Balde, Melissa, Jesse, Randy, and Kathy.

Jane Salazar - Assistant Pastor

Jane is a native of Saginaw Michigan where she first met the Lord in 1977 in a small Assemblies of God Church. As a new servant of Jesus, her constant prayer was that the Lord teach her to love him more and more. And to never allow her to lose that loving feeling, she would confess that if she could she would be forever happy being a career student of the Word of God. The Lord granted Jane the desires of her heart.

Jane, handmaiden and bondservant of Jesus Christ, retired government employee, plans to never retire from the service of the Lord. Jane serves her church in many capacities.

Jane Salazar's life verse is Luke 10:27 “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind;' and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.” She leads by example and lives her life the same way.

Osvaldo & Frances Morales - Founders

In 2012, Osvaldo was inspired to turn his parent’s (Osvaldo Sr. and Felicia Morales) home into a church now known as Only Thru Jesus Church. He along with his loving wife, Frances, of almost 50 years have served as the deacons since its opening. Osvaldo and Frances very much believe that there is good in everyone and hope this church can serve as a place where they can find love, hope, and encouragement through the word of God.

Osvaldo's life verse is Isaiah 41:9, "I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant.'"

Frances' life verse is Proverbs 14:1, "The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands."
